Cemeteries are mystical places. Our ancestors rest in peace. At the "Cementerio General" in Santiago do even more than 2 million people rest. Would you dare getting to know the most important graves ? In a tour at night ?

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays one is able to get to know either the graves of Chile's presidents or doing a tour through the most mystical and legendary places. The guide is covered with a black coat telling great anecdotes, while all lights are turned off. 
Ghosts haunt around the whole tour, which takes more or less 2 hours.
Paying only 2.500 Chilean Pesos (US $ 5) per person, one is able spending a great evening learning about the most interesting stories of the ancestors of Santiago's citizens. During wintertime (May to September) the tour begins at 7 pm and during summertime (September to May) at 9.30 pm. Children under the age of 14 cannot join, and under 18's only accomponied with an adult.
